Youth Culture Celebration

This has been the summer of the Temple at our house, we have been excited to go thru it, and I have been excited for the youth culture celebration that was Saturday night! We have been practicing for months, we traveled to Filer, Hansen, Malta, and back to Declo for different practices. Our youth are so cool, they were so good and never complained, and it paid off Saturday night when the Prophet showed up and we performed the best we ever had! The leaders got a payback for all the hours we have all spent, they let us line up down on the ground and make a pathway for President Monson to come down, I was next to my Mom and we were so close we could have touched him! It was awesome, he was so funny when he spoke to the youth I am so glad that I was able to be a part of this celebration! Thanks to my kids wonderful Grandma and Grandpa Darrington for letting them come over during practices!

The coolest chair!

So ever since my sister Jocelyn's baby loved her lil chair I hoped Gracie would like it half as much as little Fallon, well she does especially with her bag of Doritos! She likes to sit down on the floor in and watch the kids play! She is so much fun! Thanks for the chair Aunt Jocelyn.

Don't Ask!

Today was bittersweet for me, Braden started kindergarden, he was really excited and not nervous at all! We went to the school and 2 of his buddies got there the same time! He loved his first day, they made gingerbread cookies, puppets and heard the story of the gingerbread man! I can't believe he's old enough to start school!

A week in Review

So here are the things we did last week, we went to the fair 3 times, the rodeo, the parade and the carnival, temple open house, so why are we doing so much in one week well kindergarden starts next week and our lives will change forever we kind of run on the Jeff and Char schedule which includes little scheduleing, it works for us but would not for everyone. I have never been good at bedtimes or wakeup times, but we will be starting that now! My mom said one time that she knows she can call my house At 11:00pm and still be able to talk to all her Grandkids, well I am not sure that's true everynight but most nights yes it's true! So heres to our last week of family freedom, wish us luck for the next hmmmm 20 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

My new ride!

So here is a picture of my new toy, I have always wanted one of these things, we ahd them growing up and they arfe so much fun, the kids love to ride, we go everywhere on it, we even took it up by the big D! We make lots of trips to Grandma's house and the country store, so if you want a ride tell us and we will come pick you up!!!!!!

Cute Girls!

I love these picutes, Gracie is sitting so cute and Maylee loves to help with her baby sister!

Maylee's Wheels

Maylee has had Jeff push her on her bike all summer, she now can peddle by herself and loves it she stays on the cement but can ride it so good now, she packs all sorts of "stuff" in her basket it is pretty funny!

He's got it!

Braden got this motercycle for his birthday on his maiden voige out, he took it in the pasture and clothes lined the wheeline so he has been scared to go on it, but not now he finally has the confidence to get on and ride! So that means around the trees we go! Go Braden. (yea he is pretty little for a motorcycle but it is in his blood thanks to both grandpa's who love motercycles and have passed that love down to their kids!!!)

Jam Makers

We made strawberry jam this week, Maylee washed Braden cut stems, I mixed and Gracie cried! She did not enjoy jam making like the rest of us did! I got really great strawberry's at Cosco. We made strawberry shortcake for dessert, the kids were really big help.

One hard little worker

Braden loves to go to work with his Dad, he got to go on Friday while I was at work. He was a pretty big helper his a list of a few things he told me he did, went to the metal store to get stuff for the manure truck, Jeff told me he got 2 different handful of candies out of the machine at the store so he was walking around all dirty with full hands and cheeks, he helped George and Mario scrape the inside of the manure bed so they could put a new tailgate on, he swept the shop, he helped Layne with his truck by handing him tools and tires, he helped Bob get oil and thats just what I can remember so when they came home this is what he looked like! DIRTY DIRTY

Arts and Crafts

So I am always trying to think of new entertainment for the kids, how easy was this one I went in my scrapbook room and pulled out anything that looked like it was fun and kid proof they made stuff for hours!

We loved to see the Temple!

We took the kids to the Twin Falls Temple open house today, they loved it. Braden went with me earlier with the mutual, so he was like our little personal tour guide. Maylee had been wanting to go to the "temple castle" ever since she saw the picture of it. She was so cute in the Temple, when I asked her what her favorite thing was she said the diamonds and flowers!
(the celestial room light), how cute! Braden's favorite was the baptism room as he called it. We are so lucky to have a Temple so close, I am excited to be able to go when it opens!

Grandma Robertson's new water slide

We had a little Robertson get together on Saturday night, my parents got A COOL new water slide the kids love it(except for Maylee). Jackson's mom was here from Florida, and Randy and Cindy came, Jocelyn and Dusty were at Lagoon, but we still had cute little Fallon there. We had so much fun watching the kids swim, Trish and Logan were the brave ones to test the slide! The slide almost got the best of logan as you can see he almost flew off the side. Trish tried to get Maylee to go but she cried, Braden on the other hand jumps and does a huge flip down the slide! Thanks for the fun night mom and dad!!!!
