Pre-school at the pumpkin patch

I helped take Maylee's preschool to the pumpkin patch in Oakley last week, I had a suburban full of girls! It was fun to see her interact with her friends, there are 11 girls and 4 boys in her class! This pumpkin patch is a blast, you get to feed goats, go thru a corn maze, go on a hay ride, play pumpkin bowling, throw bean bags thru pumpkin, go thru a spook alley and much more it is awesome!

Addie was so little!

Ha hA Joce

About 6 years ago my best friend from highschool, Heather Young had a Harvest Widows party, we all wore are old prom dresses and she made us a fancy dinner, we each were given a state and she made us sashes to wear with our state on it. We played a trick on my little sis Jocelyn and told her we were having a swimsuit contest so weall pretended like we were changing then she came out and she was the only one in a swim suit! It was so fun, I miss you Heather! I have had this poem hanging on my fridge allthis time, I am posting this cute poem she wrote for all the harvest widows, 10:24PM and he's still not home!

Bean Harvest

good looking chili bean, these beans are going to Hormel to make chili

Braden insists on checking the harvester to make sure it is not plugged up

Jeff and Brian got bean equipment this year so it has been a new experiance harvesting our own beans. This is "guitto" the bean combine, that's his name, Braden was way excited to go harvest beans it was nice they were just down the road, he is quite the farm boy!

The great pumpkin patch

I took the girls to the pumpkin patch, Braden was in the harvester with Jeff so he did not come. Gracie loved the pumpkins she kept picking them up and hugging them! Since our garden has 4 foot weeds it will be the firstyear we have not had pumpkins of our own, maybe next year.
