Snow Fun
We were so excited that we got to stay home for most of the day today, we got our house ready for Santa and then I took the kids sledding, Gracie was not sure about the whole idea I put her in a big girl carseat in the back of the ranger with Maylee and we pulled Braden on the sled, he was practicing his surfing on a sled trick they had so much fun, Gracie fell asleep she looked cute in her snow suit she woke up by the time I got it off of her I think she enjoyed her 1st sledding experiance.

This year all the kids got to spend the night and have a Christmas sleep over they had a blast, Jeff and I went to Twin and finished up a little last minute shopping, thanks a fun night!

Christmas at Uncle Tim's and Aunt Jana
Every year Jeff's Aunt and Uncle do Christmas Fireside with dinner. It was so cool this year they asked us all to e-mail pictures of us with our kids teaching something about Christ, they made a cool slideshow with music, Jana told a really fun story and we ate yummy soup. I loved this night it was so much fun and was a reminder of the Savior at Christmas!

Ward Christmas Party
Gracie and Santa
Braden and Santa
Tonight was our ward party, it was lots of fun they had Santa and dinner, then each organization put on a skit or play Braden kept telling me that he was Joseph I did not know if it was for the party or for Sunday, I asked him what he had to do and he said I just have to stand by Preslee that's all, well if you see these pictures you can tell that he did just what he was told, he stood by Preslee and did not sing a word, after I asked him why he did not sing he told me that he was told all he had to do to be Joseph was stand by Mary! Now if it was that easy with him all the time we would have something for sure!

Uncle Denton's Christmas Party
Every year Denton invites everyone over for a fun yet different kind of party, he is the senator and goes to lots of conventions and receives all sorts of fun little prizes for example, notebooks, hats, pens, fans, coasters, bags, waterbottles, and much much more. He runs the party a little different each year this year the kids drew numbers and got prizes according to there numbers, then at the end he holds up an item and if you want it you raise your hand, it is a blast to go see the fun treasures he has collected, the best part is seeing how excited he gets!

Making Gingerbread Houses
We made Gingerbread houses for the first time this year. The kids loved it, much to my surprise and joy when we opened the kit the house was pre-made, so we made the frosting and they decorated like crazy! Gracie enjoyed watching and trying to grab the house a couple of times!

Maylee's Christmas Dances!
This was today at Park View I had to hide in the corner so she did not see me watching what a silly girl, she did really good today! I did not know my camera could not video turned this way.
Festival of Tree's
This year Braden's kindergarten class sang ant the festival of tree's they sang tons of cute Christmas songs and had actions to go with them, his favorite was five little jingle bells. Maylee danced also, the night before was her first performance at Highland estates she ws so excited to get her costume and makeup on we got there and it was time to walk out and she grabbed my leg and froze then burst into tears, I gave her to another mom thinking she might go out with her oh no instead she screamed, the 2nd dance her teacher took her out and she cried and went and sat in front with her teacher, talk about major dissapointment I think I felt way worse then I needed to! So the next day is the festival and I am telling her all sorts of things like you can't take dance if you don't perform, I am going to half to take back your costume if you don't dance, and any other ting I could think of, well we came up with an idea we would have my sister take her and see if she would dance, Maylee seemed to be okay with the plan little did she know we were all following her to watch we set in back and sure enough the little poop danced her heart out she sang every word and did not miss a beat! The funniest part is her face when she came out and saw us all sitting there, So I guess my sister has a job taking May to her performances! Maylee did not love Santa

ABB Pattern
I was asking the kids what they wanted to get each other for Christmas and they were telling me different ideas and Braden said, " Mom are you going to keep having ABB Patterns for babies?" I said what, and he said you know ABB patterns like boy, girl, girl, he then asked are you going to have another boy, then a girl then another girl just like an ABB pattern. So if you have a kindergartner or have had one you know that they learn different patterns and they have to color coordinate them to I think he is defiantly learning in school!
