Interesting Fact... for some people!

Okay I know it's sounds kind of crazy but I have been keeping track of exactly how many cans of formula we have used for Gracie, everytime I open a can I put a peice of paper in this jar by the formula cupboard so we have just opened our 43rd can of formula, she is almost 9 months old, we buy the parents choice from WalMart it costs $12.88 a can so for 43 cans it costs $553.84 my friend at work kept track of every diaper she bought I thought this would be easier and interesting, for some people!!!!

Wow- I'm glad we were able to cut a few months of that expense out. I've thought about it though and decided it's probably really not too bad- I'm sure it actually costs more in food to feed the older kids!

Wow. I wish I could be normal person and nurse longer then what I do just to save a little money. Not really that 550 dollars is totally worth not having to go through all that pain! WOW!

okay char, i have got one for you, when we brought cash home, he had to be on a special formula for preemies, the can was only 9oz. of liquid and he used a can and a half a day, the cost per can was $12.99, he had to have that for about 45 days, so total cost of that was around $870.00 for a little over a month, thank heavens he wasn't on that for long, i think it is interesting to see how much we spend on food, diapers, wipes, and all that other stuff babies need. love ya, c

Babies can be spendy but am figuring out they are a little cheaper than the older ones. Not too picky about food or clothes. ;)

I wish I could buy Cameron a can of formula to feed him, but I don't think he would be very content with that. LOL!!!!

I should have done that with Breken. It seems like he goes through a can every week or so. I thought feeding him cereal would help with that but I was wrong. I agree with Krissy the money is well worth it, way better than nurssing.

That is really interesting. I thought about figuring that out, but I thought it would just make me too sick and not want any more kids! Interesting!

my baby is ethiopian compared to yours, so i probably should've used formula to fatten the poor boy up! that is interesting! can you imagine how many diapers we've used...and all those poor ladies who used to only have cloth ones? yikes!
