Beet Harvest

The beet man himself, it was his sharing day at school I asked him what he wanted to bring he said a sugar beet, he told them the whole process of a sugar beet, this what he told me he said

" first you plant them, then you dig them, then the beet digger puts them in trucks, then they go at a beet dump, then these big green trucks come and this big loader puts the beets in the truck then the big big green truck takes them to Grandpa Pauls sugar factory then at the factory they take them to the holding place and then the sugar factory makes sugar or candy and then after they make it they put it in bags and then they take it to the store to be buyed" Straight from Braden's mouth, it cracked me up!

The new Tractor has been awesome!!!

Every year since Braden and Phoebe were new little babies we have a Halloween night with the Anthon's, we have dinner carve pumpkins, and just sit around and get caught up with what each other have been up to, It has been a fun tradition for us. Now we have 3 kids a peace and they are all the same ages, another fun thing is that Kelly and Jeff went to school together and Joelle and I went to school together we just went to that cool school across the river! (ha ha)

The Great Pumpkin Harvest

These pictures were taken before the big snow storm, we
had a lot of fun picking pumpkins, and hauling them, we
started pumpkins in our house early this year in hopes to
get a big one, we planted them the end of April and they all
froze, so we were really excited to see all these pumpkins
growing, they are all volunteers and some have cross grown
with other things from our garden last year we counted 132
pumpkins, not bad for all volunteers!

Gracie Lyn is 6 Months

That's right my little Angel Baby is 6 months old, wow how time fly's, we watched the video of her as a brand new baby today and it is amazing to see how fast they grow! Gracie is such a good baby we all just love her, she is rolling from her stomach to her back now and trying to sit up! I love this picture, thanks Aunt Heather for the super cute outfit!

Darrington Halloween Cousins Party!

We had a Halloween Party with some of Jeff's cousins on Saturday, we had the same kind of a party the first Halloween in our house which was 4 years ago, man we have grown since then. WE HAD LOTS OF FUN PLAYING GAMES, EATING, FROSTED SUGAR COOKIES,

CARVING PUMPKINS, DONUT EATING CONTESTS, AND WATCHING THE KIDS PLAY!

I am glad that we were able to get together with everyone, it was a great party.

Who Needs A Ladder????????

The Lightbulb needed changed in the living room,

instead of easily going out in to the garage to get the ladder we bought to change the light bulbs in the house, Jeff and Braden sceamed up this little plan that, Jeff would stand on the barstool and lift Braden up above his head and then Braden would change the light bulb, well it worked and no one even got hurt. I don't think I could have held him up there that long!

I had a meeting after church so I was lucky to have some good helpers with dinner, as you can see Braden and Maylee were working in their undee's, I had to take the picture!

Look at that guilty face, Maylee was being awful quiet when I walked in the kitchen this is waht I found, an almost empty box of donuts, she was caught red handed, as you can see she push the bar stool over and her booster chair so she could eat with ease!!! She is not to worried about being caught eating who knows how many donut holes!

How did you know?

Last night when I got home from mutual Jeff was watching the presidential debate, he said come here, he then asked Braden who are those 2 guys, Braden said" that's Barack Obama and
John MCcain WHAT THE HECK I said how do you know he said I just know, neither Jeff nor I told him who these strangers are I could not believe he knew which one was which, Jeff said he turned on the debate and Braden said hey Dad thats Barack Obama and John MCcain, he did not know they were running for president but he regonized them, hmm maybe advertising does work!!!!

SNOW, SNOW AND MORE SNOW

We were all shocked to see the snow come down Saturday morning, it snowed all day into the night, we went sledding in the pasture with the kids they loved it, I took picutes of out bbq grill every couple hours to give evryone an idea how much SNOW we really got, Jeff's brother measured 21 inches at 10:00 pm and it still kept snowing. We had to scrape in front of our garage so we could pull in Saturday night and we had only been gone a few hours, church even got canceled. Brian and Ami were suppost to bless Breken today so we all went to the Declo High School where the dinner was suppost to be and the blessing today! What a fun memory that will be for us, and a fun story for that cute little boy! Jeff has been pretty worked up about the snow something about beet harvest and planting grain, I keep telling him he can't do anything about good ole Mother Nature!

As you can see we have been playing in the costume box, these are there old costumes, I think they have grown a bit, Gracie is going to be eeyore this year, Braden and Maylee both wore it when they were babies! I love this picture! My pride and joy just hangin out together!

Turning 30

Well this is not a normal post thank heavans! Well as you can see by the title I turned 30 today, I thought that I would write a little so when I make this blog into a cute book someday my kids can read about me at 30, or if I can't remember how 3o is in years to come I can look back!
Hmm well I have to admit I kind of felt bad about turning 30 until I was cutting one of my very favorite clients hair Judy Heller and she told me your going to be 30 you should be proud look at what you have done in 30 years, married, kids, a salon, good health, o ya your right Jud! So here's to 30, one of my friends said you turn 30 first and then tell the rest of us how it goes,
so here's to 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
